Earth Day is Wednesday April 22, what better way to celebrate and create artwork that using the natural materials found right in your back yard. If you cannot use found materials outside, think about found materials you may inside. Think outside the box and Try your best!!!

2. Create Land Artwork of your own.
Here is Richard Shilling's process:
Step 1) Go somewhere and open your eyes.
(Stay safe, Use found items inside or outside, Have your parents permission)
Step 2) Look at what is there and see the colors and shapes and forms (Look for multiples, repetition.)
Step 3) Select some materials that appeal to you because of their shape or color or whatever else (Do not pick, pluck or ct items - Use what is already laying around)
Step 4) Collect as many as you can
Step 5) Make a pattern, swirl, circle, spiral or anything you like with what you have found
3. Photograph and Upload your work to submit. You will be including a brief written reflection with your work.
